Job Description:

GSG Protective Services is seeking Unarmed Security Officers to work in the Tarzana, CA area. Security officers will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of patrons. Qualified candidates will have a professional appearance and demeanor.

Qualifications:

• Valid Security Guard Card *(REQUIRED)*
• Valid Baton Permit *(Preferred)*
• CPR/First Aid Cert
• Reliable transportation and be willing to work at other posts if the need arises
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Regular and punctual attendance to all shifts

• Detail Oriented
• Technology Savvy
• Strong Report Writing Skills
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Public service oriented, with effective communication skills

Duties may include but not limited to:

• Being alert at assigned post at all times to ensure personal safety
• Observe and Report
• Monitoring various activities by making rounds
• Respond and assist with emergency situations on property
• Contact Police, Fire Department, or other emergency services as needed
• Practicing all safety rules and procedures at assigned post, as established by GSG Protective Services to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Sitting/Standing for prolonged periods of time
