GSG Protective Services is Hiring a Safety Officer Near Carson, CA

GSG Protective Services is looking for a Safety Officer. The Safety officer will play a crucial role in promoting a safe working environment by advising on safety measures, conducting risk assessments, and enforcing preventative measures.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct on-site surveys, audits and inspections to ensure a safe and positive environment, and compliance with safety rules and standards.
  • Perform inspections to ensure compliance with safety and hazardous material regulations.
  • Perform surveys to determine PPE needs by site.
  • Conduct Job safety analyses, identify problems and recommend corrective action.
  • Implement safety education and training, safety awareness and publicity programs.
  • Plan and Conduct Safety Training
  • Maintain a log of accidents, incidents and injuries, prepare and review reports, and determine causes.
  • Investigate a work related accident/injuries and complete appropriate reports.
  • Develop, coordinate, conduct and participate in safety committees.
  • Investigate and/or direct investigation of incidents and complete appropriate reports.
  • Conduct investigations including video review, on site analyses, interviews and the collection of all other evidence needed to provide and comprehensive report on incidents.
  • Help develop safety policies and procedures for comprehensive safety and health programs.
  • Other responsibilities/activities as needed to ensure a safe, health and positive work environment at all sties.

Required

  • 4 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is a related field
  • OSHA Certifications
  • 2 years investigative experience

Pay: DOE
