POSITION OVERVIEW:

The IT Specialist will supply end-user support in all things related to computers, mobile devices, networking, software, printers, and copiers where the following services will be performed: set-up, installation, troubleshooting, upgrades, diagnostics, and maintenance in a Microsoft Windows domain environment.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support via ticketing system, email, phone, or chat.
  • Support and troubleshoot IT infrastructure including Servers, Desktops, Laptops, and Network equipment.
  • Follow up on open tickets to ensure proper response and satisfactory resolution and keep detail-oriented documentation regarding problems and solutions.
  • Printer and copier toner and maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Associates degree or an equivalent of related professional experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Capable of working autonomously and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Office 365 experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience are required.
  • A Certification, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Or Microsoft Certified Professional certifications strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Microsoft Active Directory and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Database experience (MSSQL Preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Formulas, PivotTables, BI Connectivity)

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • 100% on-site
  • 300 Desktop users across multiple locations
  • 90% office environment and 10% warehouse environment
  • Travel may be required
