GSE Workforce Solutions is Hiring a Quality Technician I Near Manassas, VA

GSE Workforce Solutions is currently working with a major client who is looking to hire a Quality Technician to work on a 12-month contract located in Manassas, VA starting ASAP!
Shift: 8-hour days (40 hour week)
Location: Manassas, VA. 20109
Pay Rate $22.00 p/h.
Benefits: Dental, Vision, Medical, 401K.
Required Skills:
1. 1-3 years lab experience
2. Proficient with MS Office
3. Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
*Aseptic Technique experience would be a MAJOR PLUS
Summary:
Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. Achieve department requirements for safety, quality, product release, equipment uptime, sample throughput, and cost. Ensures goods are tested to meet release commitments.
Responsibilities include:
Perform product testing including pH, osmolality, endotoxin, conductivity, density, and various chemistry and microbiology tests.
Perform verification of calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment and keep the equipment in general working order within the laboratory.
Perform and review environmental monitoring of cleanrooms including viable and non-viable air sampling and surface sampling.
