The Survey Technician will be responsible for determining precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, map making, land division, titles, or other purposes. Experience, skills and qualifications should include:
Job requires daily travel and, at times, overnight stays. The successful applicant will assist the survey team and other staff members, as needed, in the performance of surveying tasks as they relate to company projects. Duties may include survey equipment maintenance and operation, driving, carrying heavy loads, working in inclement weather, CAD and assisting other office staff as needed.
Surveying Projects may include, but not limited to, boundary surveys and project related boundary resolution, water and wastewater systems surveys, storm water management surveys, control networks and site control, topographic and site development surveys, FEMA Elevations Certificates, ALTA surveys and airport surveys.
