The Project Accountant (PA) role at Grunau is a critical position that supports the accounting functions that impacts all areas of a project, and they serve as the go-to person for the Project Managers to which they are assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Certified Payroll reporting
  • Service Invoicing
  • AIA invoicing/SOV (schedule of values) Billings
  • Lien Waivers
  • RFP (Request for Proposals) emails
  • Estimating Coordination/Assistance
  • Lunch and Learn coordination
  • Credit card processing
  • Accounts receivable assistance
  • Long form Purchase Orders
  • Exhibit O and H (subcontract and subcontract change order)
  • Operations and Maintenance manuals
  • Submittal binder assembly
  • Document management
  • Financial report management

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Accounting Degree preferred but not required
  • 2 years of Accounting Experience including AR and/or AP experience required
  • Construction industry specific experience strongly preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrable ability to work well with others
  • Demonstrable ability work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through completion.
