Job Goal:

The Curing Manager leads the manufacturing process and team members by establishing resource needs based on sales forecast on the finishing side of the business, working to achieve on time shipments ensuring efficient, quality and safe operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
• Manages Curing department (Rotocures/Flat Press/Pan Press/Inline) including team leaders.
• Directs and motivates subordinates, providing guidance and direction including setting performance standards.
• Conducts performance evaluations for employees on the manufacturing team.
• Verifies and approves attendance of the manufacturing team.
• Maintains appropriate staff by hiring employees, resolving personnel grievances, and discharging employees when necessary.
• Improves manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
• Works with the Production Planning team in order to manufacture products according to the outlined schedule.
• Provides needed tools for manufacturing operation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Technical, Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in industrial related field preferred.
• 10 years of industrial-related experience with at least 5 years of manufacturing managerial experience
• Knowledge of rubber molding and manufacturing processes preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems implementation, and sustainment
