GRT Electronics is Hiring an Assembly Technician Near Raleigh, NC

Responsibilities:
- Operate a surface mount pick and place machine, screen printer and reflow oven. Must be able to learn how to program the machines. Basic computer skills are required, such as the use of spread sheets and data bases.
- Hand place electronic components on PC boards
- Through hole assembly with a soldering iron or a wave solder machine.
- Visual inspection of solder joints to IPC class 2 standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience:
- Previous experience in pcb assembly is preferred.
- Knowledge of both surface mount and through hole assembly is preferred.
- Familiarity reading BOMs and board layouts is preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively.

We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, have good manual dexterity, and can work independently or as part of a team. The ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently is essential.

We are looking for individuals to assemble boards used for industrial controls. Attention to detail is critical. We are looking for a full time person to work a 40 hour day shift, Monday through Friday. Morning start times are somewhat flexible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
