We are currently in search of dedicated and professional individuals who are prepared to join our team in the capacity of a Reserve Security Guard. Please be advised that this role is specifically designed as a reserve or standby position.
In the capacity of a Reserve Security Guard, your responsibility will be to remain on-call, prepared to step into an active role as circumstances necessitate. While this position does not promise an initial regular work schedule, it uniquely positions you on our preferential list for contract assignments as they emerge.
It's important to understand that this role, despite being a standby position, is integral to our team's operations. Our Reserve Security Guard positions offer us a flexible, ready-to-deploy workforce, capable of responding swiftly to our clients' security needs. This role presents a prime opportunity to garner extensive experience in the security field and potentially serves as a springboard to a more regular, contract-based role within our organization.
Duties & Qualifications:
- The agent will conduct Protective Surveillance and Counter Surveillance while providing Armed Concealed Security for the designated principal(s) and or residence(s).
- The agent will maintain a low profile while on duty at the client(s) residence(s) and/or place of business.
- The agent will familiarize themselves with the “Pattern of Life” that was created on the job site and should understand the baseline of the normal day-to-day environment while maintaining communication with our 24/7 Operations Center.
- The agent will be highly visible and have daily interaction/contact with the principle(s) or the agent will blend with the environment to ensure client privacy and preference.
- All GRS Agents will be expected to display a high level of physical fitness, a clean professional appearance, and great customer service with a smile.
- All agents will work a 4-on-4-off rotation consisting of 8–12-hour shifts.
- The applicant is required to be in good overall physical, mental, and emotional condition, have a good reputation as a team player, and must be willing (if the client requires) to work long hours with an ever-changing schedule.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tactfully negotiate conflict and remain flexible are required.
- Agents must possess the ability to interact with all levels of corporation management, and liaison internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnel.
- Strong oral communication and representational skills are required.
- Candidates MUST be able to brief, defend, persuade, and instruct others on security requirements and policies.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, organizational skills, and the ability to write in a clear and precise manner are required.
Additional Duties:
- Provide covert and overt armed residential protection to the designated principal(s).
- Report to the residential protection management team.
- Safeguard the residence and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Conduct all facets of protective duties.
- Follow and enhance the directed SOP.
- Conducts ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
- Operates motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
- Works directly with local law enforcement to ensure Area of Operation continuity.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates with a bachelor's degree are preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Extensive military experience is preferred (preferably in a military special operations branch), and corporate security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
- Applicant should possess excellent oral, written communication, and analytical skills.
- Applicant must have high levels of integrity, and trustworthiness.
- A graduate of a reputable executive protection training school preferred.
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card is required.
- Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit is required.
- Valid California Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) is required.
- Must have a high level of firearms proficiency.
- Experience and understanding of corporate culture.
- Extensive medical experience (First Responder, EMT, 18D, Paramedic, Navy Corpsman) preferred.
- Well-versed in Report writing.
- Leadership and management experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Will always maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on days, nights, and weekends as required.
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- PROVIDE (3) PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES- previous employers (NO family or friends)
Compensation & Benefits:
$32-$40 per hour: Based on experience, training, and other related qualifications
