Technician, Supplier Quality

SUPPLIER QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Temporary 6 – 8 Weeks Position. Monday – Thursday 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Located in La Verkin, UT

Supplier Quality Technician Responsibilities:

• Complete Quality checks/inspections on incoming materials or components.
• Pull raw ingredient samples for testing, submit raw ingredient samples to testing labs, review and approve raw ingredient lab results and release raw ingredient lots according to lab results.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Quality Specialist/Technicians.
• Crosstrain with other Quality Specialists/Technicians.
• Comply with all Plant, GMP, Customer, and NSF requirements.

Supplier Quality Qualifications & Expectations:

• Be able to use a computer and scanner to complete or file Quality Documents.
• Ability to use measurement tools after training.
• Working knowledge of Lean (Continuous Improvement) principles is a plus.
• Value communication

Physical Demands:

• Manufacturing environment where some lifting may be required (up to 50 pounds is common).
• Standing or walking for a most of the day.
