PROGRAM MANAGER
Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting, and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools.
Position Reports To: CIO
Salary: $140K - $160K / DOE
Purpose of Position: Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk), acting as the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and deadlines, to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification
  • Interface directly with leadership to define project requirements
  • Conduct standard requests for proposals, complete bid analysis, recommend resources to leadership
  • Identify project delivery resources via the individual project qualification process or pre-qualified lists
  • Lead project delivery resources and teams; provide guidance to achieve goals
  • Manage all resources and teams to ensure coordination and execution of all project deliverables
  • Develop project documentation governance aligned with company, legal, and auditing requirements
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated
  • Create action plans; track project goals, objectives, budgets, and timelines; provide status reports
  • Facilitate project meetings and develop a communication plan to keep leadership and project resources informed
  • Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure necessary approvals, and issue change orders
  • Utilize company defined resources to successfully manage, complete, and close out projects
  • Identify best practices and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle; collaborate with team members and leadership to support improvements
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years’ project management experience in a fast-paced, multi-unit retail environment
  • PMP Certification or knowledge of Project Management standards
  • Knowledge of POS systems and ERP implementations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Project Management platforms and Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional communication skills, dedicated to keeping all essential parties informed
  • Committed to collaboration and maintaining effective relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Expert ability coordinating multiple projects, managing diverse responsibilities, and efficiently multitasking
  • Flexibility adapting to timelines to suit project needs
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
