Garden Center Merchandiser

Position: Seasonal Part Time Hourly non-exempt

Reports to: Merchandiser Regional Manager (servicing Walmart)

• Build and maintain a positive working relationship with store personnel
• Merchandise live good displays
• Ensure markdown process is utilized properly
• Manage inventory levels and maintenance of live goods
• Communicate with Supervisor with questions or issues
• Adhere to company policy, including hours, policies, and utilization of required apps

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload racks, build attractive displays
• Condense merchandise and sign properly
• Remove distressed product
• Keep area clean and well-organized
• Minimize markdowns and shrink
• Daily communication and follow up in a timely manner
• Understand and follow all Grower Merchandising policies
• Assist in building display tables and racks

Skills and Qualifications

• Able to download and use required apps, per company policy, every work day
• Able to perform the physical demands of the job: standing and walking for prolonged periods, reaching and bending repeatedly, lifting, pushing and pulling safely up to 50 pounds
• Work in all weather conditions
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly

-Self- motivated, hardworking, energetic, detail oriented, able to work independently

• Available to work weekends
