Grove Collaborative is Hiring a Buyer Near San Francisco, CA

We are looking for a Buyer to oversee multiple categories and assist the Sr. Buyer with growing the third-party business. The role is responsible for creating and executing strategies to deliver productive, innovative, profitable, primarily third-party product assortments to sell on our eCommerce platform. This position oversees third-party vendor relationships, driving mutually beneficial joint business plans, cost negotiations, and vendor-funded marketing, and growth strategies for their owned categories. This role touches many parts of the business with the core cross-functional partners being site merchandising, marketing, inventory management, analytics, and creative. The person who fills this role will be excited and energized by a fast-paced, startup environment that best caters to the needs of our business and external vendor partners - this means quickly adapting to new priorities and shifting context. This role reports directly to the Sr. Buyer. This role requires a motivated self-starter with 4 years of directly managing 3rd party brands.A large portion of the time spent in this role will be dedicated to vendor funding marketing programs, cost/margin negotiations, and general vendor management.
