Internship Summary: Groupsoft US Inc. under its Internship and Training Program, is looking for students or recent graduates with a passion for programming and a broad technical skillset to join our application development team. An individual who has what it takes to learn cutting edge technology, support internal projects, work well with teams and deliver results. 

Throughout the internship, the student will learn how to be able to design, develop, and test the products required for the company’s needs. Moreover, the candidate should be highly collaborative and be able to work closely with other developers in determining product development skills and strategy. 

During the internship, the student will work with our team of developers and engineers on internal applications to hone their skills and utilize newly acquired knowledge. The student will have the opportunity to be trained on technically advanced skill sets. A fantastic opportunity to evolve into an Application Development professional. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with team members to produce industry-leading user experience. 
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds. 
• Writing a clean code that is functional, maintainable, and scalable.
• Develop standards, best practices, templates, styles, and libraries to provide a consistent user experience. 
• Staying up to date with the latest technologies and frameworks. 
• Support, collaborate with and learn from Application Developers to implement application design 
• Receive mentorship from senior team members and apply knowledge within internal projects
• Prior knowledge and/or experience with Java required
