Groups Recover Together is an outpatient addiction medicine provider that delivers comprehensive outpatient treatment for opioid addiction. Based on the principle that recovery is tied to aspects of life that are beyond the reach of an office visit, our care model includes three core modalities that are proven to help individuals get their lives back on track -- medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation. We pride ourselves in providing high quality clinical treatment and team-based support needed to build a life worth living sober. 

Responsibilities

At Groups, the Regional Director plays a key role in our organization by building and leading a high-performing team, driving operational excellence, and delivering financial results and growth across a regional area. The Regional Director partners with clinical leadership to provide consistent and high-quality care and deliver exceptional outcomes. Most importantly, the Regional Director stewards our mission and values through his/her personal leadership, hiring choices, and representation of the organization externally. This position reports to the State Director. 

  • Own regional KPIs including: Census, Retention, P&L/budget, and employee satisfaction.
  • Cultivate a positive team environment where our mission and values come to life.
  • Recruit “A players” into every role, based on a deep understanding of the target profile and our values/culture (in collaboration with State Director, Clinical Supervisor and Talent Acquisition team).
  • Deliver structured and effective onboarding for new employees that both conveys technical knowledge and imparts culture.
  • Support employees’ professional development through goal setting, coaching and feedback - and connect PD to improved organizational performance.
  • Stay ahead of staff and physician recruitment needs at all times.
  • Ensure our policies and procedures are rigorously and consistently implemented, every time (working closely with clinical leadership).
  • Lead successful launch of new locations, including operations/logistics, hiring, community outreach, and demand generation.
  • Train, coach and inspire centers to deliver exceptional member experience.
  • Address feedback from members or other stakeholders.
  • Establish Groups as a respected, positive presence in the community.
  • Ensure our front office operations in the designated area are operating to Groups standards.
  • Ensure providers have sufficient support, have completed all administrative tasks and assist them on first day of employment (for telehealth, VC/screenshare necessary).
  • Perform health and safety drills.
  • Oversee supply orders and other necessary equipment/furniture purchases for designated offices.
  • Responsible for own office coverage (or finding coverage) for any Office Manager PTO or illness.
  • Perform operational audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Responsible for visiting each office in designated region on a regular basis.
  • Own/maintain group and intake schedules and subsequent provider coverage needs (not including member scheduling).
  • Produce and maintain group and provider schedules on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Assist with preparation of site audits with state licensing, accreditation, and managed care organizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and five or more years of experience in a multi-site operation (healthcare preferred but not required).
  • Experience managing and growing a P&L budget is a requirement.
  • Experience hiring top talent, ideally across both clinical and non-clinical roles.
  • Strong bias towards action and results.
  • Proven ability to balance focus on (1) new center openings and (2) existing business performance: strong project management, can aggressively manage priorities and time; and ensure follow-through.
  • Exceptional and versatile problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in high-stress, fast-paced situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: you engage people in a caring, authentic way; you know how to give thoughtful, actionable feedback; you know how to influence people and get the best out of them.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage communication effectively across a large, dispersed team, and represent the organization to external audiences.
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task, and the ability to easily adapt and respond to change.
  • Strong IT skills including Google Apps.
  • This position requires completion of a health questionnaire.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • The ability to travel up to 50% of your time to different offices.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and own transportation to travel between offices.
