Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to help our growing Engineering team build world class solutions and deliver results for the business. You will work across Engineering, Product, Operations, and other teams to ensure we deliver quality while instilling confidence in the work we do. You are comfortable with greenfield environments and look forward to defining what Test Engineering means at Gainbridge.

You enjoy working with a team. You hold yourself and others accountable for routinely delivering mission critical outcomes. You are viewed as a trusted, intellectually honest partner within your team and across functional boundaries. You continually ask yourself, “What is accurate and what should be done about it?” This role will report to the AVP of Engineering Operations.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Work with Product Team to convert business requirements into discrete detailed QA and UAT tests.
  • Use tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or Protractor to create comprehensive UX tests that can test as little as a single page and as much as a complicated workflow using data driven scenarios.
  • Use tools such as RestAssured, BlazeMeter, or JMeter to automate API Testing using data driven frameworks.
  • Conduct diagnostic postmortems to understand untested issues and prevent repeat incidents.
  • Work with Development and Operations teams to confirm Go/No-Go status on launches and incremental deployments.
  • Define standards for Test Engineering and QA.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience as a Test Engineer.
  • Experience working in leading financial services organizations.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience implementing testing practices and standards in a greenfield environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to distill complex issues to meaningful synthesis.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and other teams to deliver excellent testing outcomes.
