Group 1 Automotive is looking to add a qualified TEXAS TITLE CLERK to their Austin area team.

Responsibilities

• Processes all new and used vehicles registrations
• Prepare tax and title documents
• Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicle
• Verify that funds have been collected before processing title applications
• Complete title transfers for all wholesale transactions and ensure funds are collected
• Ensures retail transactions are processed in a timely way.
• Contacts banks to obtain lien releases.
• Provide additional administrative support as needed.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 WEB dealer experience
• Previous experience working in a busy office environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent follow-through skills
• High school diploma or equivalent.
