The candidate will have opportunities to learn the retail automotive industry and tax laws applying to domestic, foreign, and cross-border transactions. The candidate will join an experienced tax team who will help the candidate develop his/her tax career. The tax department currently uses multiple software products to compile data for compliance and reporting, allowing the candidate to spend more time with data analyses. Responsibilities

• Prepare corporate federal and state income tax returns
• Prepare quarterly and annual corporate tax provisions
• Compile and analyze data for complex federal, state, and international tax calculations
• Perform tax research
• Perform special projects (general tax planning, M&A activity)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA certification is preferred, but not required.
• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Detail oriented, self-motivated with the willingness to learn a variety of tax technical areas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong work ethic and high professionalism
