Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other beverage equipment
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all beverages served
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Experience in the food service or food industry preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency with SHIFT 4 or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide friendly and helpful customer service
