Ground Pounders is looking for both VETERAN Drivers and those on a NEW Path. Our pay is based upon experience, and our training program is comprehensive and can open up new career paths.
The job starts at a FedEx Station where the first hour of the day is spent setting up the rest of the day for success as we help the preload finish loading our trucks as we organize for the day ahead. After planning the route on the provided iPads and ensuring your office on wheels is stocked for the day, you have the independence on road knowing our staff is a call away to answer any questions and help with any processes.
This job involves delivering to businesses and residences within our territory. We cover Noblesville, Cicero, Sheridan, Atlanta, Arcadia...so you see we have a variety of route types. We provide the training that you need to be successful and we work as a Team each day to accomplish our goals, and that includes us, the owners, who work alongside you each day. We are a hands-on management team and we strive to make this a company you are proud to work for and in which you feel appreciated.
We are Essential Workers and the Communities we serve depend on our Team to help their businesses thrive, to deliver the medical supplies and vital items they may not be able to easily get themselves, and to ensure that we help keep the community and their packages safe while we are out on the road!

4 Day Work Week for Full Time Hours Available
GRADUATED DRIVER TRAINING (GDT) PROGRAM – NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
We currently have full time positions with our 4 Day rotating schedule.
This schedule offers the opportunity to be flexible with your work life balance. The Schedule consists of, Mon-Sat with your 4 days rotating within those days. This schedule is set for 4, 10hr days with the ability to finish early depending on volume and proficiency.
Hard Start Time 8:30 with up to an hour of “In Building TIme”
Soft End Time 6:30 The end time depends on Volume for the day/ Route Proficiency.
Fundamental Job Requirements:
Communication Skills – Ask clarifying questions, express concerns, relay customer service information to management team.
Organizational Skills - Setting the truck, van or your personal vehicle up for the day is essential to on road safety, efficiency and both customer and your satisfaction.
Time Management - We have some time sensitive deliveries, odd business hours to consider and pick up time windows so it's important in this independent, fluid work environment our drivers can effectively manage time.
Safety Focus – Engage in our Safety Program to ensure Your and Others Safety on Road.
Attention to Detail is a key component that will help you thrive and maximize your earning potential at Ground Pounders.
Drivers must have or be willing to obtain a "Drive for Hire" license from the state of Indiana.
Must be at least 21 years old, enthusiastic, hardworking and have at least 1 year of commercial driving experience within the last 3 years, if no experience will need to complete Graduated Driver Training Program completed with Ground Pounders
NO reckless or aggressive driving (such as 15 MPH over speed limit, operating vehicle at 80 MPH ), no seat belt or cell phone tickets. Other requirements include:
No DWI, DUI, or reckless driving within last 5 years
No more than two moving violation or preventable accident within the last 3 years
Note* This job is physically demanding in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for motivated and reliable candidates.'
