Job Summary

This is an immediate opening for the 2023-2024 school year.

1 day per week (either Tuesday or Thursday) for 3 hours in the morning.

Job Description

The instructor will teach transferable skills utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Office 365, as well as Google and Google Drive functions. Students gain the adaptability skills necessary to perform office tasks encountered on a daily basis. The instructor also provides the technical background needed to take most college classes or succeed in the industry sectors such as hospitality, medical, industrial, including office management. An additional component provides tailored opportunities for students to increase typing speed, practice business writing, develop portfolios or access English Language support modules.

Requirements and Qualifications

The job reports to the Grossmont Adult Education Re-Entry Education Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years of working in business office or finance

Must pass Sheriff's background check
