GroovyTek is a fast growing company that helps people over the age of 40 get comfortable with their smartphones, tablets and computers. We work via in-home and over-the-phone tech training sessions, conducted at the client's pace with patience, empathy, and respect.

We are currently hiring for the position of Personal Technology Trainer. This position requires you to be patient, respectful and enjoy helping people get comfortable with their personal technology.

If you are patient, respectful, and have a good, practical understanding of personal technology (iPhone, Android, Apple iOS and Windows), we want to hear from you. Applicants must also be comfortable with and respectful of working in customer homes. Don't wait and give us a call, we want to hear from you!

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

• The ability to create a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting patience & respect, and providing solutions for their needs

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven positive attitude; ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users

• Experience using and learning about consumer electronics

• Strong remote troubleshooting and working knowledge of home networking/devices, wireless devices, and printers

• Some knowledge of online security, and virus management; prevention, detection and removal

• Must poses a clean driving record and able to pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
