Groovy GOAT will be a centerpiece for the Greatest of All Time in food, drinks, sports and games. The Groovy GOAT will satisfy anyone's cravings with a large variety of custom/made from scratch menu items, ranging from sauces and marinades made in house, to wood grilled wings, hand cut steaks, and fresh seafood. We will be home to the greatest sporting events and will be a place for the entire family to enjoy with more than 40 of the top arcade games to choose from.
Summary of Position
We are looking for a Host or Hostess to join Groovy GOAT and be the first point of contact for our guests.
Host/Hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure Groovy GOAT guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. Ultimately, you'll ensure we provide excellent customer service and a positive, unforgettable dining experience to our guests.
Responsibilities

• Host/Hostess are responsible for welcoming all guests to Groovy GOAT
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Manage reservations
• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
• Provide menus and announce Server/Bartender's name
• Thank customers upon their departure
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
• Answer incoming calls and address customers' questions.
• Assist wait/bar staff as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
• Stand for long periods of time
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work with a team
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Willing to work in a smoke, tobacco and drug free work place.
