Set up and align parts per blueprint in preparation for welding and perform welding operations

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned)

- Receipt of GTAW 1G certification.

- Receipt of GMAW in 1G rolled position certification.

- Set-up and weld GIT sheath components.

- Set-up and weld CGIT conductor components:

- Layout, drill, and weld bosses in OGET enclosure

- Perform routine maintenance, as required, on equipment and machinery applicable to WI level tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Equipment Used: Welding machine, cutting torch, manual plasma cutter, brush, pad, buffer, grinder, overhead crane, ratchet straps, rubber hammer, stencil, tape incasure

- Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Must have or achieve welding certification

- Knowledge/Skills: Able to read tape measure and blueprints. Able to properly operate welding equipment. Must be trained in applicable SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and work instructions, if any.

- Education/Experience: At least 1 year of welding experience or training. High school diploma or equivalency (GED) preferred, but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
