Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Contract Pointer to join our team in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Pointer machine and assisting with block operations in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities :

• Operate a Pointer machine to straighten and point metal bars or rods
• Assist with block operations, including shear point, coil, and assist block operator
• Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Previous experience operating a Pointer machine or similar equipment
• Upper body strength and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
• Knowledge of shear point, coil, and assist block operator
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
