Job Summary:
Griswold Home Care for North San Diego is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide care for individuals with limited mobility due to Spinal Cord Injuries in and around the Oceanside, California area. This part-time, hourly position in the home care industry is perfect for someone looking for a fulfilling individual contributor role. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
• Provide non-medical home care services and support to clients with Spinal Cord Injuries
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders as directed by the client's healthcare team
• Provide transportation to appointments and assist with errands as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate parties
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check and health screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
