Job Summary:
Griswold Home Care for North San Diego is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide care for individuals with limited mobility due to Spinal Cord Injuries in and around the Oceanside, California area. This part-time, hourly position in the home care industry is perfect for someone looking for a fulfilling individual contributor role. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals and help them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own home.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
• Provide non-medical home care services and support to clients with Spinal Cord Injuries
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders as directed by the client's healthcare team
• Provide transportation to appointments and assist with errands as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate parties
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check and health screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
