MAIN FUNCTION: Assist Patient Safety and Evidence Based Care Manager with abstracting records for Patient Safety/Quality Initiatives and other patient safety projects. Support all evidence-based care functions of the department including: Data collection and reporting, management, and meeting preparation. Works with multiple departments within the hospital collaborating to assist in improving processes of patient care and documentation.

EDUCATION: RN/LPN, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 3 years of clinical experience required. Minimum six months in same or similar position. Computer literacy and the ability to type are required.
