GridIron IT is seeking multiple Graphic Designers local to Chantilly, VA.

Active TopSecret (SCI Eligible) Clearance required!
** Must be able to obtain SCI CI Polygraph

Graphic designers are expected to develop and maintain their skills commensurate with industry wide best practices.

At a minimum, graphic designers must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in one of the following fields, or a related area of study: Graphic Design, or Communications or Fine Arts, with a strong emphasis in graphic design.
• Ability to shape and lead solutions to data visualization in an increasingly complex and changing technological environment.
• At least two years of experience with the Adobe Creative suite tools, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Strong creative portfolio demonstrating good use of typography, grid?based design, white space, and color theory.
• Knowledge of production tools and methodology, and a strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new software and hardware.
• Strong editorial and grammar skills, demonstrated by at least one year of experience in copyediting, print publishing, or other formalized writing heavy responsibilities.
• Knowledge of publishing principles, basics of publication design, and production methodology for publishing products in hardcopy or electronic formats, demonstrated by at least one year of publishing experience.
• Familiarity with Web content management demonstrated by one year of experience working with Microsoft SharePoint.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
