Gridiron IT is seeking a AWS Senior System Engineer to support a federal program in Washington, DC.
Description:
Individual will work with developers, analysts, and testers to manage code releases, apply Infrastructure as Code (IaaS) principles, recommend and implement automated deployments and testing procedures, and maintain IT infrastructure. Individual will also identify and deploy cyber security measures, perform vulnerability assessments and security remediations/patch cycles, and provide extensive risk management.
Skills Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on related experience: AWS cloud and resource management with UNIX Computing
- Linux system management
- Automation Scripting (Bash preferred) and knowledge of vi or equivalent
- Experience with DevOps/pipeline processes and tools (i.e. GitLab runner/bamboo/azure DevOps)
- AWS networking (VPC/SG/ELB)
- Infrastructure as Code experience (CFT/CDK is a must)
Mandatory Requirements:
- US Citizenship required.
- ACTIVE Top-Secret Clearance required.
- Work at client site (3 days in Washington, DC)
