Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist to join our team in the Washington, DC area. This is a Hybrid position. Must be able to commute to Washington Navy Yard, when required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop software tool architecture and data flows between software tools to support analysis of energy use in the U.S. Navy
• Analyze solution space to data flow paths and techniques. Make recommendations for optimum technical approaches and solutions.
• Apply and integrate statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling skills to manage and manipulate complex, high-volume data from a variety of sources.
• Build reporting tools and data visualization dashboards.
• Present technical work to customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated understanding of SQL, Cameo, and Power BI; including query creation, data import, and data export.
• Demonstrated understanding of ontologies and Protg.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within U.S. Navy computing infrastructure.
• Experience working with Advana/Jupiter.
• Experience working in a SCIF.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual.
