Grid Elevated is looking for a Part-Time Mobile App Developer to work on innovative projects for smart energy systems operation. The Mobile App Developer will work on a team to contribute to both existing and new applications. The Mobile App Developer will have an opportunity to work in a variety of software and coding environments, interfacing with cloud services and hardware.

Essential Duties:

• Develop new functionalities in React Native for mobile apps
• Collaborate with team to design and implement updated UX/UI
• Oversee deployments and releases on iOS and Android devices with Expo
• Collaborate in a team environment to develop features under a sprint approach
• This is a part-time position for 10-20 hours a week
• The position is hybrid, with the main location in Salt Lake City, UT

Skills and Qualifications:

• Significant experience with React Native and Expo
• Familiarity with Android and iOS release procedures
• Experienced in mobile app design, implementing stylesheets
• Experienced in state management and local storage across multiple components
• Experienced in interfacing with APIs
• Familiarity with general mobile app cybersecurity practices
• Experience with collaborating in a team environment, Github proficiency
• Comfortable working on different projects and capable of learning new skills and applying them in a meaningful way

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 2 years software development experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
