We are looking for aLoan Workout Officer, Director Levelfor our Northfield, IL office. The primary responsibilities and qualifications include:

• Restructuring large and very complex Healthcare loans
• Independently analyze loans and determine the most effective workout strategy to ensure optimal loss protection to Greystone Monticello while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external stakeholders to negotiate and execute loan workouts in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Present complex credits and recommended action plans to Senior Management in a concise manner
• Implement comprehensive workout plans for troubled loans, including loan modifications, refinancing, restructuring, and foreclosure proceedings
• Negotiate with debtors or their representatives to secure repayment agreements and monitor adherence to the terms of repayment agreements
• Provide technical advice and assistance to lenders regarding the early identification and evaluation of deteriorating loan situations in order to minimize losses and maximize recoveries

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 years senior housing experience in operations and finance
• knowledge of commercial lending, loan services and credit policy/procedure
• knowledge of loan collections and workout, loan processing/documentation and credit analysis
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills
• Established organizational skills and ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects
• Extensive computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and property managers; excellent presentation skills, the candidate should have the ability to confidently explain the complex problems and content to broad audiences both internal and external
• Ability and willingness to travel on as-needed basis

Greystone Monticello offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $225,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
