Detailer & Porter

Uptown Car Care Center is a premier automotive repair company focused on providing the highest level of quality and customer service. We are currently searching for an Experienced Detailer/Porter to clean customer’s vehicles prior to delivery.

Job Summary

Clean vehicles prior to delivery to customers and maintain the buildings and grounds area.

Essential Job Duties

• Clean all customer vehicles prior to delivery
• Arrange vehicles on the parking lot
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop work areas
• Pick-up/Return parts and paint from suppliers
• Drive customers to and from their destination
• Ensure outside grounds are clean at all times
• Maintain inventory of all office and shop supplies
• Comply with safety rules, guidelines and standards
• Other duties as assigned

Skill/Requirements

• Must have at experience as a Detailer/Porter
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company’s insurance policy
• Ability to effectively communicate with others, oral and written
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions
• Multi-tasking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment
• Personable, friendly demeanor with “World Class” customer service approach to internal and external customers
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time while cleaning vehicles
• Must be able to walk, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently
• Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet or humid conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage & benefits package.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
