POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Project Manager has the primary responsibility to plan and coordinate the execution of all projects (TV, Digital, Print, Mobile, etc.) for all assigned brands. This position is the hub of communication for the team regarding all project deliverables. The Project Manager is an enthusiastic problem solver and thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project. As the key point of contact for both the client and the project team, the Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of an engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team delivering the work has everything they need to make Famously Effective work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

On any given day you can expect to,

  • Be responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with discipline leads and project teams to execute on plans.
  • Translate the client’s vision and needs into business requirements that includes project scoping, estimating, and SOW development.
  • Be responsible for contract routing and internal approval process.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon.
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals.
  • Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
  • Develop timelines with input from relevant departments.
  • Update timelines based on client and/or internal changes, keeping accurate timelines throughout the life of the job.
  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining resourcing plans for all projects and coordinating with Resource Management.
  • Be responsible for coordination, planning, running internal project meetings and taking and distributing meeting notes.
  • Consistently identify needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
  • Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.
  • Assist in the development and tracking of integrated project plans alongside Senior Project Managers.
  • Prepare submissions for projects.
  • Remind team members of upcoming due dates and alert the key partners should if dates shift along the life cycle of the task.
  • Manages and maintains archive of project documentation and assets.
  • Review weekly estimates v. actuals and submit accurate timesheets on a daily basis.
  • In partnership with Account leads, responsible for timely and accurate revenue forecasting and budget updates.
  • Prepare, coordinate and run weekly status meeting and provide day-to-day project status to the team.
  • Effectively present information in informal and formal client settings.
  • Manage production vendors and partner agencies.
  • Stay current with client, competitive, and industry trends.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Proven project management, time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks 
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or equivalent programs.)
  • High level of language and communication skills as well as an interest in high science
  • 3-5 years’ experience within Advertising or related industry
