We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering team!

Responsibilities:

* Conceptualize the initial design approach for major phases of large projects.

* Plan, schedule, conduct and/or coordinate mechanical engineering work.

* Interpret and revise engineering documents.

* Conceive, plan and conduct research in complex problem areas.

* Prepare engineered plans and technical specifications, contract documents and assist with estimates.

* Participate in contract bidding and administration. Observe ongoing progress of a project.

* Assist in coordination of projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff. Communicate and interact with project team members, client representatives, review agencies and others as appropriate to project.

* Assist in resolving a variety of complex problems (e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements).

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 12 years of job related experience.

* P.E. licensure

* Healthcare related building design experience.

* Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, practices and techniques.

* Knowledge of codes and regulations.

* Skilled with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

* Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Strong team player

* Must have a strong attention to detail.

* Must have strong organizational and time management skills.

* Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.

* Ability to travel to job sites as needed.

* Valid Driver License is required to travel to job sites.
