We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing and leading construction projects.

You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely, efficient, and profitable manner.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in post-frame construction methodologies and procedures.

Requires superior communication, time management, leadership skills, planning and organizational skills.

The chosen candidate will work out of our Des Moines location.

Qualifications:·

• 3-5 years of experience as construction supervisor/manager.·
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and materials.·
• Good computer skills with the ability to learn new construction/ project management software with ability to utilize this technology in the field.·
• Ability to work directly with clients and maintain a professional demeanor.·
• Great problem-solving and decision-making skills·
• Ability to motivate, set goals, and manage conflict.·
• Superior organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking.

Responsibilities:·

• Supervise a team of 8-12 workers.
• Maintain work schedules and communicate with the Project Manager to track progress and milestones.·
• Work closely with Project Manager to manage all aspects of turn-key construction projects, including managing all subcontractors – schedule, contracts, change orders, performance, clean up etc.·
• Determine needed resources (labor, equipment, permits and materials) from start to finish.·
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers·
• Collaborate with internal and external personnel--including customers--to determine the specifications and requirements of projects.·
• Plan all construction operations to ensure deadlines will be met.·
• Communicate with customers regarding schedules, changes, issues, and invoices/payments.·
• Adhere to all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
