Job Requisition #: 026121 Electrical/Automation Engineering Co-op (Open) Job Description: Key Responsibilities Performs basic and routine support activities as part of an internship program within the area of Manufacturing, Reliability, Maintenance Team, Quality Team and Operations Team.. Typically working towards a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Assists with Reliability assignments and projects that the team is currently working on. Familiarizes oneself with the functions of the department. Attends internship events and functions including but not limited to social networking events and roundtables. May present to Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship. Contributes valuable work through delivering against performance goals and assigned projects. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Typically working towards a Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering. Knowledge and Skills Possesses an understanding of basic Engineering principles, as well as some knowledge of the function related to the position. Possesses an understanding of basic PLC PROGRAMS principles, as well as some knowledge of the function related to the AUTOMATION. Possesses an understanding of basic CMMS (computerized maintenance management system), as well as some knowledge of the function related to the position. Takes initiative and is intellectually curious. Demonstrates effective written and oral communication.
