Gregg Young Automotive Group is searching for technicians (entry level - ASE master certified) who enjoy & take great pride performing quality service and who appreciate a cohesive work environment that provides a healthy work / life balance to become a member on our Fixed Operations TEAM as a Technician at our Chevrolet dealership. We are looking to add happy and positive technicians to our growing team - all levels of experience. Diesel and transmission technicians included.

Qualifications:

• tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimated amount of time needed for additional repairs
• executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• ensure all components & systems are working properly to isolate the cause of the problem
• performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards/ manufacturer standards
• establish working relationships with our quality, professionally trained service advisors to provide the best service experience and secure future customer retention & referrals
• operate independently as rapidly as possible to repair / service the concern, & get to the next job with the support of the service manager and service advisors
