JOB TITLE: OPERATOR IV – RB4016
DEPARTMENT: ROAD AND BRIDGE PRECINCT #4
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be in good physical condition.
2. Prior experience with some or all of the below listed types of road equipment.
3. Valid Class "A" and CDL license required.
4. Must be available for emergency call out.
5. Must be able to work in adverse conditions.
6. Must have 5 years' experience operating heavy equipment with letters of recommendation.
EXAMPLES OF JOB DUTIES:
1. Must be familiar with and able to operate some or all of the following equipment.
2. Please list which of the following equipment that you can operate on your application.
Motor Grader, Rubber Tire Excavator, Roller, Track Hoe, Bob Tail, Loader, Dozer, Tandem, Backhoe, Mixer, Asphalt lay down, Maintainer, Drott, Boomax, Haul Trucks
3. Perform maintenance on all equipment.
4. Carry out work assignments with minimal supervision.
5. Communicate effectively with supervisors and public.
6. Work in all types of weather conditions and hazardous conditions.
7. Rake, shovel asphalt, able to use various types of power and hand tools.
8. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
SALARY: $41,254 ANNUALLY
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,254.00 per year
