Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift (GAL) - Senior Experience
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 1st shift. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, equipment, and facilities in accordance with GAL standards. The Maintenance Technician will also be expected to demonstrate a high level of technical skill and knowledge in the areas of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery, equipment, and facilities
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• World class level of quality in all work performed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 15 years of experience in a maintenance technician role
• Knowledge of NEC standards and procedures
• Proven experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Previous leadership experience
