Greenway Terrace is now hiring a Resident Assistant to join our long standing, strong team.

**PM Shift (hours are typically 1:30pm - 10:00pm), every other weekend requirement (averages 24 hours a week)**

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. As a Resident Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to residents in an independent living setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.

Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and serving
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by providing weekly apartment cleaning and laundry services
- Follow resident rights guidelines and ensure their privacy and dignity are respected
- Utilize proper infection control techniques

Requirements:

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

-Reliability to work shifts as scheduled
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferred but not required - willing to train the right candidate
- Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for their needs
- Ability to follow medication administration systems accurately
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
