Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Technician to join our CARE TEAM. As a Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our residents. This position requires ONE year of MedTech/Caregiving experience.

Duties:

- Collect samples for laboratory analysis

- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals

- Assist with patient care ADL's as care planed in residents chart.

- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities.

- Provide support and assistance to care team.

- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.

-Other duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor.

Requirements:

- Verified experience in medication administration. Ex: Med Tech Certificate

- Basic Knowledge in medical terminology and common medications

- Experience working in various healthcare settings such as home care, senior care, nursing homes, hospice care, acute care, or memory care

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents.
