GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the HW-Health & Wellness department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

This position is for an adjunct instructor that will teach Medical Terminology both in area High Schools and on the Greenville Technical College campuses.

In this challenging role, you will support the School of Health Sciences at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:

• Teach lectures in Medical Terminology
• Prepare lectures/syllabi/tests.
• Grade/assess student work.
• Develop/implement new classroom strategies.
• Consult with students.
• Advise on academic progress.
• Maintain competence through continuous professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Doctorate or Master’s degree with a major in biological sciences OR a Doctorate or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in biological sciences OR a professional degree accompanied by a Bachelor’s degree AND an active license in the field [(MSN), (M.D.), (D.C.), (D.V.M), or advanced clinical degrees awarded by a nationally accredited institution, may be accepted as fulfilling the degree requirements.]

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
