Job Summary:
As one of the premier clubs in the Southeast, the internship program at Greenville County Club offers a tiered experience which encompasses all aspects of dining services within the club. The program is designed for individuals who are preparing for a career path within the club industry and will allow students the opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse.
Food & Beverage Service Internship (Level 1) – Students will be exposed to all aspects of dining services provided within the club. Typically, interns will begin their rotation as a host or server assistant and once proficient, they will progress to banquet and a-la-carte service, ultimately having the potential opportunity to assist in the managing dining services and banquet events.
Food & Beverage Service Internship (Level 2) – Interns who have progressed beyond a Level 1 internship will have the opportunity to be responsible for providing and overseeing dining and banquet services at the Club's Pool Café. This internship is designed for those already proficient in dining operations who are ready for exposure to the daily management of a clubhouse area.

In addition to field experience, interns will be provided housing, paid an hourly rate and can expect to work 40 hours each week. Pro shop discounts, uniforms and a meal allowance is also provided. Interns must have own transportation. Selected interns will be given the opportunity to attend regularly scheduled CMAA meetings while employed.
