Greentech Renewables St. Louis is urgently hiring a Hybrid Warehouse Associate/Driver to add to our growing team.

Hybrid Warehouse Associate/Driver Job Duties May Include

In this role you will split your time between working in warehouse operations and driving a box truck for deliveries when needed. This breakdown is approximately 70% warehouse operations and 30% driving depending on what the days operations calls for.

The warehouse associate portion is active around the warehouse as you go between different tasks throughout the day depending on what the job calls for. Our team shares all of the warehouse duties as we work together to get the job done. These duties may include the following:

• Order Fulfillment: By foot while also utilizing pallet jacks, forklifts, and ladders when necessary.
• Stocking: Responsibly place and organize material in the warehouse after it has been received in preparation for future orders to be picked.
• Receiving: Utilize forklift, and/or other power equipment to unload freight, process incoming product
• Shipping: Effectively package and stage shipments to be delivered the next day.
• Operate forklift or other power equipment to strategically load product onto outgoing trailers.
• Follow operating and documentation procedures

The driving portion of the role calls for a Class E License or the ability to obtain one in order to utilize a box truck to make deliveries. This driving role is active as you start your day by loading your truck, making several stops throughout the day to unload the different shipments, and interacting with both customers and homeowners to ensure a smooth delivery.

These duties include the following:

• Driving a box truck
• Loading & unloading material using a forklift and/or pallet jack
• Communicating with customers
• Lifting and stacking
• Diligently following the driving route for the day
• Being detail oriented with paperwork
• Following all safety and standard operating procedures

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a person who possesses the following qualities:

• A Class E License or ability to obtain one
• Clean driving record
• Proficient driving a forklift, using pallet jacks, or other power equipment
• Team mentality
• Responsible & detail oriented
• Takes extreme ownership over their tasks and is a self-starter
• Likes to work both individually and in groups
• Leadership instincts
• Customer service experience
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to lift & carry 50lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time
• Experience in customer service

Preferred Experiences & Skills

• Experience in both warehousing & customer service
• Experience driving professionally
• Proficient with technology and using a computer
• Confident handling power tools

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
