Greensboro Medical Associates, PA, is a 9-Provider multi-specialty practice including internal medicine, endocrinology, and rheumatology located in Greensboro, North Carolina. We strive to create the best possible patient experience with every interaction, and we are seeking a Medical Claims Specialist to help us in that effort. We are seeking an employee that is self motivated, organized and can work independently. Prior billing experience is a must. We are seeking someone that has a positive attitude and good work ethic. Candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. We offer a full benefit package to full time employees.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

1).Reviewing physician documentation and translate medical procedures into codes for transmission to insurance carriers.

2).Reviewing denied claims, correcting claims and re-billing for appropriate reimbursement.

3).Knowledge of third party payers and standardized coding, current ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.

4).Post and process payments using both auto and manual functions.

5). Answer patient /staff questions and calls in regards to all insurance billing matters.

6).Cross train and back up to referral department

Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
