JOB SUMMARY:
The mathematics department is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach two sections of MAT1030 – The Mathematics of Finance. One section will be taught in person, the second can be in person, hybrid, or online. This course (a general education course) is an introduction to the basic mathematics of finance. Topics include simple interest, simple discount, compound interest, annuities, investments, retirement plans, taxes, credit cards, and mortgages.
We welcome applications from instructors with a master’s degree in mathematics or mathematics education. The master’s degree should be from a regionally accredited institution, with documented completion of 18 graduate hours in mathematics.
We have no full-time positions available at this time.
