GreenSavers is Hiring a Home Performance Auditor Near Portland, OR

GreenSavers is a contractor focused on home energy efficiency in Portland and Central Oregon. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Home Performance Auditor to take the lead with data collection during home energy audits and estimates.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: 24 - 40 hours Monday through Saturday. The schedule will be set, but there is some flexibility in how we set it.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license & insurable driving record
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Experience in construction, home maintenance, and/or energy optimization
  • BPI accreditation is preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency is a must
  • Proficiency using CRM systems
  • Must have an understanding of the building systems, including technical data
  • Being comfortable with heights and tight spaces
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, stop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Ability to frequently climb and balance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete home energy audits and estimates with HP Consultant. Collect and record data. Perform diagnostic tests in accordance with BPI standards (e.g. blower door test, CAZ test).
  • Assist HP Consultant with Home Performance Report and Project Proposal.
  • Review paperwork generated by HP Consultant for accuracy. Edit paperwork when requested by HP
  • Consultant.
  • Use modeling software to calculate energy use and heating/cooling loads.
  • Update CRM to keep client and project data up to date.
  • Answer project-related questions for the Project Manager or production team.
  • Perform test-outs and QA/QC walkthroughs when requested.
  • Complete post-project reports as needed by HP Consultant or Project Manager.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
