Greenleaf Management, LLC is Hiring a Community Manager 1 - City View, Chattanooga TN Near Chattanooga, TN

Position Description: The Community Manager is responsible for the overall management of their assigned Greenleaf property. Their goal is to ensure a quality resident experience while positioning the team for long term success of both the physical asset and its team members. A successful Community Manager will possess the skills necessary to effectively handle financial, property and organizational components of the role. This individual will report directly to the Community Lead and work closely with other Greenleaf Members. The individual should be able to learn the skills to lease to prospects and create a cultivating work environment for the team.
The position will work at our property, City View, located in Chattanooga, TN.
Property Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular property, common areas, and vacant unit inspections and identify opportunities to continually improve
  • Responsible for vendor relations
  • Provide excellent customer service, proactively respond to needs and improve the resident experience
  • Manage the leasing cycle including generating applications, screening, online lease signing, move in & lease renewal process, and inspections
  • Understanding of leasing market to make long term recommendations
  • Understand all available Property and Lead reports
  • Create a welcoming property environment with a sparkled tour path and vacant units
  • Provide excellent customer service, proactively respond to needs, and improve the resident experience
Organizational Responsibilities:
  • On-board new team members
  • Knowledge of handbook and policies
  • Build knowledge of property management software
  • Understand, follow and enforce strict adherence to State and Federal Fair Housing Laws and all Greenleaf policies and procedures as listed in the employee handbook
  • Promote and teach safe work practices and ensure the safety of residents
  • Ability to multi-task and schedule deadlines that can be achieved
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all Greenleaf team members, residents and vendors with the ability to work as a team towards common goals
Experience:
  • 2 years customer service experience required
  • Soft skills requirements are effective communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Google (Gmail, docs and calendars)
  • Experience with Entrata Property Management Software preferred, but not required
  • High School diploma or equivalent
