Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
Kalamazoo Country Club’s golf shop prides itself on providing a world class customer experience in a fun, fast-paced work environment.
- Provides a personalized shopping experience for all members and guests.
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Directs customers by escorting them to various displays.
- Assists with the management of the social media accounts.
- Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
- Manages financial transactions.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise and visual display upkeep.
- Ability to create marketing content for the Golf Shop.
- Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
Qualifications
What You Need for this Position
- High school diploma or GED
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Motivated to provide excellent customer service
- Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- High degree of attention to detail
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personable, enthusiastic, energetic, and dependable
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications
- Proficient with Social Media, Specifically Facebook and Instagram
